Accelerated Reader

The Accelerated Reader Program is a computerized reading management system. It provides the teachers and parents with timely and accurate information about each student's reading progress.

The way the Accelerated Reader Program works is simple:

  1. A student selects a book at his/her reading level from the book list of over 100,000 titles.
  2. The student reads the book.
  3. The student takes a computerized multiple choice test.
  4. A printable report is generated informing teachers and parents of the child's results.
  5. Parents and teachers are able to access test results to monitor the child's progress.
